About 24fire · Technology
Three server lines on modern hardware – AMD EPYC, AMD Ryzen and Intel Xeon with NVMe storage, ECC RAM and full KVM virtualization. Operated in two data centers in Germany and the Netherlands, with DE-CIX connectivity and included DDoS protection.
We rely on proven server hardware from well-known manufacturers – combined with true KVM virtualization, fast NVMe storage and redundant network connectivity. Enterprise technology at a fair prepaid price.
The right architecture for every use case: from the latest AMD EPYC generation through high-clocking Ryzen CPUs to the budget-friendly Intel Xeon. Which system is used depends on the product – here you can see what runs where.
Maximum performance for demanding projects.
Ideal for
Highest clock speeds – perfect for game servers & co.
Ideal for
Plenty of HDD capacity for backups and archives.
Ideal for
Solid performance at the best price.
Ideal for
No matter which line you choose – this technology is in every 24fire server.
True hardware virtualization with full root access and your free choice of operating system – Linux and Windows templates included.
Enterprise NVMe SSDs for short load and response times; where possible in local RAID-1 for extra data safety.
The EPYC and Xeon lines use DDR5 and DDR4 memory with error correction (ECC) – for maximum stability in 24/7 operation.
Both data centers connect to the DE-CIX in Frankfurt – multi-Gbit uplink, IPv4 & IPv6. Traffic: 5 TB per month at NTT, unlimited (fair use) at Skylink.
Automatic protection across layers L3 to L7 – included, at no extra cost and with no configuration.
Manage everything in the modern control panel or via REST API: reinstall, real-time monitoring and SSH key management – online in under 60 seconds.
The key specs of all 4 server lines compared side by side.
| Line | Processor | Max. clock | Memory | Storage | Data center |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| AMD EPYC 5th Gen | AMD EPYC (Zen 5, "Turin") | up to 4.4 GHz | DDR5 ECC, registered | Enterprise NVMe SSD | Frankfurt am Main (DE) |
| AMD Ryzen 9 | AMD Ryzen 9 (Zen 4, with 3D V-Cache) | up to 5.7 GHz | DDR5 | NVMe SSD, local RAID-1 | Frankfurt am Main (DE) |
| Intel Xeon | Intel Xeon (4th generation) | up to 3.6 GHz | DDR4 ECC, registered | NVMe SSD, local RAID-1 | Eygelshoven (NL) |
| EPYC Storage Server | AMD EPYC (Zen 3) | up to 4.0 GHz | DDR4 ECC, registered | HDD capacity + NVMe system SSD | Frankfurt am Main (DE) |
You choose via the product – these rules of thumb help you decide.
For compute-intensive applications, virtualization and databases, the AMD EPYC 5th Gen in the NTT FRA1 in Frankfurt is the first choice.
For low latency and strong single-thread performance we recommend the AMD Ryzen 9 with up to 5.7 GHz and 3D V-Cache.
A solid all-rounder at a fair price is the Intel Xeon – ideal for most standard projects.
For smaller projects, tools and first steps, the Intel Xeon in the Skylink data center is the budget-friendly choice.
