We have reason to celebrate: since 29 October 2026, “24fire” has officially been registered as an EU trade mark with the European Union Intellectual Property Office (EUIPO). Our name is now protected in all 27 EU member states — and from now on we write it, rightfully, as 24fire®.
The road to registration
From filing to registration took just over three and a half months:
- 14 July 2026: application filed with the EUIPO
- 21 July 2026: application published
- 21 October 2026: end of the three-month opposition period — without a single opposition
- 29 October 2026: entered in the register
The application met the conditions for the EUIPO’s accelerated Fast Track procedure, which is why examination moved especially quickly.
What exactly is protected
“24fire” is registered as a word mark. That means the name itself is protected — regardless of typeface, colour or logo. The registration covers Nice classes 38, 42 and 45, including telecommunications and IT services: exactly what we run for you every day — servers, hosting and the infrastructure behind them.
The registration is publicly available in the EUIPO register under number 019395273.
What this means for you
Nothing changes about your contracts, prices or servers. What does change is the reliability behind the name: where it says 24fire, it is 24fire.
The registered trade mark gives us a clear legal basis across the EU to act against imitators — for example providers using our name for similar services, or sites pretending to be 24fire. If an offer or message under our name ever seems odd to you, just get in touch with our support team.
Why this step matters to us
24fire has grown over the years: from a prepaid hosting provider to a company with its own infrastructure in the NTT data centre in Frankfurt, our home since 2023. A name that customers trust with their servers and data deserves protection.
With this successful registration, we are making a strong statement for our customers, our identity and our future. Thank you for being part of the journey!
